SOWO 2011

Few shows get me going like SOWO. Southern Worthersee celebrated its fifth year on May 20th, 2011 and by the festivities that went down it was easy to see why. Hidden in the mountains of Helen, GA is a Germany themed town which is the ideal location for this euro gathering. After personally experiencing this show for 3 years in a row I can easily say it is growing. Playing host to thousands of car enthusiast the people of Helen opened their local business for people to stay the weekend and enjoy. From authentic German food to a great tube ride down the freezing but nice Chattahoochee river the whole weekend was a blast. Going out on a limb here I will gladly make a statement that SOWO is going to be the H20 of the south. For anyone that cannot make the journey to Maryland in September I would strongly suggest trying to make the drive in May to Helen to check out SOWO, you won’t be disappointed.
