Jerome Cruz is a personal friend of mine and it is a big privilege to feature his car on our site. The thoughts and plans he has for this car can only be matched by the actual execution of them when it is all said and done. Having said that, let’s actually take a look at his MK3 Jetta as it stands at the present time. The color choice is the first thing that makes this car special. It is not just white, but a custom blue pearl color blend made by Omar Rodriguez (aka Mr. Dub Empire, aka Mr. Tilly’s man). Pictures can't describe it, you have to see it in person in order to appreciate it.

Jerome's daily is actually a slammed Honda fit, this Jetta happens to be his project car. A set of infamous 1988 Corvette wheels and coilovers were used to have it sit properly. It may not make much sense at first, but these wheels are quite popular within the dub scene and very few cars can pull them off this well. Adding to the clean appeal of the outside, Jerome also kept it fresh inside by adding a white Moco Moco steering wheel and a red headliner with accents.

Giving this car a subtle glance is a mistake. Honestly, every time I see it I find myself more in love with the look and style. A perfect example to prove that it is the little things that really matter and keeping it simple always works out.

The Honda Civic has left many with a bad taste in their mouth. While there are a handful of exceptionally clean builds, for the most part it is recognized as the most riced out of any platform. The good news is this stigma may be slowly fading away. Fortunately, there is a new breed of Civic enthusiasts that understand the principles of building nice clean cars. I know many of you already chose sides on this debate, and probably nothing will ever change that. However, having been on both sides of the turf, I think with a little open mind we can eventually learn to leap that hurdle and appreciate every type of car in their own way.

I thought it was crucial to mention all this. Sometimes it frustrates me a bit when I hear a platform not getting the respect it truly deserves, and this car is a perfect example of what I mean. Seriously, look at this car, it is practically as clean as it gets. It is a perfect execution of suspension, wheels, and tasteful mods. Everything from the drop, fitment, and selection of wheels is on point. If you are a Honda enthusiast in this scene, this car should make you proud. In all honesty, I think it looks dope!

Love this car! It is fresh, clean, and unique. Demetrius has taken a platform that isn't quite as popular and has built something special. At first, it gives the impression of only cosmetic mods. However, this isn't the case here, this CL has a few goodies up its sleeve. Inside the engine bay there's a Comptech Supercharger, some cooling mods, and even a tranny swap.

Demetrius went with a beautiful set of gold Work VS-XX wheels that compliment the red exterior. Another nice touch were the upgraded brake parts. The 4 piston calipers came from an Acura RL, and to our surprise, the 12.8" slotted rotors are actually for a 350z.

As you may know we are big fans of originality, so we truly acknowledge the effort in putting together this car. Without a doubt, here's a success story of being different and effective while bringing your own style to the scene. Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone, engage yourself in platforms that are challenging. Go out there and make a name for yourself, be bold, do whatever it takes to keep it fresh. These are the cars people recognize and appreciate the most.

The satisfaction of building a project with friends is enjoyable, but building one with your father is beyond extraordinary. Sharing the automotive passion with someone that is close to you is not only exciting but also something that you will remember for the rest of your life. Elvin from Seattle, WA knows exactly what we are talking about because he has experienced it firsthand. At the young age of 18 he owns one of the sexiest Corolla Trueno’s we've laid eyes on and he thanks his father for the teamwork and support.

For about two months now we’ve been working hard to bring you this feature, primarily because how stunning this Trueno looks and also how this story unfolds. The car was built with the pure intentions to restore and the addition of some flavorful parts here and there. Elvin says he started the project after acquiring a job and it took him approximately a year to get it all done, sourcing and importing parts from all around the world. Some unforeseen issues were encountered and resolved along the way thanks to the help of some friends. The final cost of the project was about $15,000, quite a hefty price tag. He says sometimes people can't believe it's his because how amazing it looks.

What's not to like about this car, it's absolutely gorgeous! The entire project has been challenging, costly, and time consuming. However, Elvin and his dad have done a remarkable job of putting together a classy and appealing build that we can all appreciate.

Infiniti G20's are hard to come by, much less one nicely done. A few weeks ago Jose Rebelo from New Jersey asked us to check out his car, immediately we were responding back with a big esmile of approval. Together we found Andrew who was generous enough to shoot some beautiful images for us. We really wanted to feature this car because we'll vouch to say we've seen very few of these looking proper. Nothing wrong with seeing the same usual cars in different ways, but when you come across something different like this, it’s a breath of fresh air.

Jose says he's only been in our scene for around a year and has owned a few cars throughout all this time. He purchased this G20 from a single owner and right away starting modding it. At first it seems like not much has been done besides a drop and wheels, but I’m quite impressed with the modifications list. Most of it is simple stuff that compliments the car all around, nothing has been overdone. It hasn’t been easy, but he’s been able to put together a unique, attractive, and clean car that peeps can appreciate. Huge props to Jose for engaging in a platform that is rare and bringing his own style, that’s doing it right!

A great deal of nicely done Miata’s has taken over our streets. This may not seem noticeable in your town, but at least in the interwebz we’ve been bombarded with some real clean setups. A few weeks ago, we received this feature request by one our fans and we couldn’t pass the up the opportunity. As a matter of fact, Matt (the owner) had just finished the body work the night before. Immediately we got to work and our photographer Jeff Littlefield brought it all together for us to enjoy.

Like many of us, Matt has been in the automotive scene for some time but it’s the fitment scene that has really captivated him. The car as it is looks phenomenal and you gotta love everything about it. The choice of wheels and slammage look great, but the color is breathtaking. However, what’s really amazing about this build is that in ten months of owning this Miata he took it from a “borderline junker” (as he described it, lol) to this teal looking beauty and he’s not done just yet.

When we come across every day enthusiasts like Matt Lamphier and see his hard work beginning to payoff, it gives us all a sense of fulfillment. Sure, at the end of the day he’s the one that truly enjoys it, but features are not meant only to satisfy the creator. They serve a purpose beyond the use of bandwidth and viewing pleasure. Features rejuvenate the scene and change the way we feel about the cars we love, they spark creativity and inspire others. If just one enthusiast can transform this feature into their own ideas, than the real purpose of Matt’s Miata has been accomplished. With that said, teal, a clean drop, and legit wheels has never looked this good!

It's been close to twenty years since the MKIV Supra was first introduced, yet it remains among my favorite cars of all time. The sexy curves of this timeless design just keeps looking better and better as the time goes by. The owner of this clean Supra is Michael Nguyen from New York, and I think he's really done a superb job of making it look this good. It started naturally aspirated and then went on to getting a single turbo conversion. Soon the engine modding became an addiction, but it was the exterior that was in desperate need of some work.

Eventually the numerous dents and scratches acquired throughout the years took a toll on the body. Michael decided to change things a bit and painted the car Brilliant Red, the color coming from an Audi. A set of HKS Hipermax II coilovers was the suspension of choice to give it a functional, yet clean, drop all around. Michael says he has two sets of wheels, both of them CCW. These are CCW SP16A 19x8.5f and 19x10r, the other set are CCW Classics 18x10.5f and 18x12r.

It isn't over yet for this bad boy though, over the winter it will get some extra engine goodies, a new turbo, and a tune. Once it's done, Michael expects to make around 700hp. Now that makes this Supra come together perfectly, what a beauty!

About a year ago we posted Jeremy Chapman’s 2004 Jaguar X-Type Sport on the site. It is still amazing that this Ford Mondeo-based car still receives such mixed feedback will all of his mods – garnering feedback from negative words that rhyme with “Jag” to people incorrectly dismissing it as a Ford Taurus. Having known Jeremy as long as I have, I know he lives for this controversy. Try showing up to a Volvo forum in 2005 with Mercedes wheels or more recently to an all British meet where the average participant age is over 60 and getting the dirty looks from Jaguar purists. That is what Jeremy is all about and it doesn’t take ugly wheels or OTT paint jobs for him to get polarized feedback. In many circles his mods would be considered subtle, but to the Volvo or Jaguar communities they have been extreme.

Jeremy is a wheel guy through and through. You see this with the Jaguar and I’ve witnessed it with his Volvo C70, VW Eurovan, Volvo 850 and even the old shots of his MkII Golf from back in the day. The stance scene is a perfect outlet for this wheel fetish and he’ll tell you himself that his fetish is pretty bad. Jeremy bought the Jaguar in November 2009 and since then it has had nine sets of wheels.

The car started with a decent set of multi-piece factory BBS-made wheels called “Melbourne”, but they were only 7” didn’t really give Jeremy the look he was after. Plus because everyone seems to want multi-piece BBS wheels these days, Jeremy was happy to express his dislike for the common good. This is an anthology of the various faces and incarnations of the last two years.

He then briefly mounted some staggered 19” mesh wheels from his previous C70, but didn’t even leave them on long enough to snap pictures. He then bought a set of Modular wheels in a staggered 20” fitment.

Those got him closer to the look he wanted and he kept those on for some time, but then as snow started to fall, he moved to an old set of Porsche Carrera wheels with snow tires.

Once it started to warm up, Jeremy decided to leave his Porsche adapters on and run 20x9 Porsche Sport Techno wheels.

Then Jeremy was hit by the bug to get lower and while he could easily tuck 20s on the car, he wanted to get his pan a bit closer to the ground again and decided to fit Jaguar Cygnus wheels from a 2010 XF.

Those got him much closer to the ground, but were a little plain for his liking, so he went back to the aftermarket Jaguar stable and procured a set of 18x9.5” Coventry Whitleys made exclusively for Jaguar.

Still unsatisfied, Jeremy went back to his Volkswagen roots and purchased the last set of original design Porsche Twist wheels from Hartmann in 18x10.

That puts us to the here and now. With the winter months approaching and Jeremy’s dependence on mobility in the ice and snow for his 60+ mile daily commute, he purchased his current set of winter wheels in 17x9 with Bridgestone Blizzaks. No they aren’t real, and Jeremy doesn’t care.

At the end of the day, Jeremy is kind of playing dress up with a car that hasn’t seen a lot of love from the aftermarket. The model has the visual chops, especially with lower pressures in his air suspension and true to catwalk form; he’s changing the look of the car with every season.

No one really knows what he’ll do next, but I’m sure he’ll be driving his car back onto the catwalk to let us know.

If you keep yourself up to date with our site, you probably remember the Euro Techniks BMW e46 that I featured a few weeks ago. After I worked on that article, I was doing my religious scouring of the internet and I decided that it was time to turn up the heat for a new feature (but I wanted another awesome Bimmer, of course). A close friend of mine recently mentioned wanting to sell his car and pick up a wagon solely for the extra space. Extra space? What a novel idea. This got me thinking and searching for something spacious enough to fit me and all of my junk, but still fit the lifestyle that I'm used to.

This is when I came across Charles's BMW 325i touring edition wagon. Once I saw this thing I knew I had to share it with the world. These guys from Euro Techniks continue to leave us in awe with each car that joins the group. In the words of the super eFamous Mike Meszaros..."I'm Jelly". At first glance all you can notice is the vibrant red paint and the contrast of white sprinkled throughout the rest of the car. From the discreet color matched bits, to the carbon fiber pieces and added performance parts...this car is the complete package.

One of the biggest things that I look for in a car is how well they pull of a set of wheels. Charles has definitely exceeded my expectations with a clean set of staggered Varrstoen's in 19x8.5 (et35 with 8mm spacer) and 19x9.5 (et33). These wheels might be popping up a lot lately, but that doesn't mean everyone can pull them off. This car is definitely the acception because they look fantastic.

He's riding this beauty daily on a set of FK coilovers with Turner rear adjustable camber arms to assist fitting those 9.5's in the rear. He chose to go with FK because they provide a smooth ride that really allows him to ride low and aggressive at the same time.

But this car isn't strictly about looks. Charles has also added a Racing Dynamics Carbon Intake and a UUC Twin Exhaust to help with power, as well as a UUC 14" front/13" rear Big Brake Kit to get him to a stop.

Charles is all about finding the little details to capitalize on and that's what really makes this car unique. Thanks for giving us the chance to showcase your car here on JustStance. We look forward to seeing what you come up with next!

Sean Kim from Hawaii brings us this delightful IS300. Lately, this island state has sent over some of the cleanest rides I have seen. From bagged STI's to slammed Mazdaspeed 3s, Hawaii has shown it has way more to offer than awesome surf and grass skirts. Since his high school years, Sean dreamed of owning one of these cars and it wasn't long ago that his dream became reality.

So after buying the car, Sean had time to plan out what he wanted to do with it. With the help of some friends he started to visualize what he wanted to accomplish. The outside of the car was accented with some TRD parts and slight but detailed body work. He also matched the eye lids to help set off the look on the headlights while still keeping it classy. So next up was achieving the proper stance, and so he decided on an air ride suspension courtesy of Air Runner. However, what really sets this car off nicely are the Leon Hardiritt Orden Wheels, they look spectacular! Sean then added a little more style to his trunk set up, settling on an air brushed tank and having it molded into the trunk itself!
