I have never really been a fan of a Hyundai, but recently with the release of the Genesis things have changed for me. Jake Reining owns this beast and he’s been tuning cars for the last 7 years. However, he didnt really get into the scene until 2005 when he moved to south Texas and met Chris, Matt and Kimo some of the first members of what is now Team Sun*Works.

When I first found this car on the Team Sun*Works forum I was blown away. The color combination, the wheels, the stance, the mods, everything was so perfect to me. I’ll be honest I’m not usually a big fan of graphic overlays on any street car… this wasn’t the case here though. I must assume he attempted this first in Forza or something cause it takes guts to go this crazy with vinyls and have such an impressive result.
Considering how this bad boy brings a snail, Jake has also done his part in backing up his style with some mods under the engine bay. From the upgraded cp-e™ FMIC, Deatchwerks 750cc injectors, cp-e™ 3” Race Downpipe, and even a titanium bolt kit from Dressupbolts.com to name a few of the many modifications on this Genesis.

This has been one of my favorite post and I was very excited to get this car on our site because it’s such a perfect example that there are amazing cars out there and many times they get over-sighted and lose the recognition they deserve.
