Going STAGea

Written by : Posted on July 26, 2010 : 1 Comment

Do you know why I love other parts of the world? Not because they make delicious food or allow us fat “blokes” to watch their enjoyable sports…it’s because of the different cars I get to see when I scour the internetz daily. As usual, I was doing my morning forum exporing and came across this gorgeous 2002 M35 Stagea. Chasey on StanceWorks was nice enough to create an intro thread and show us his daily driver.

The wheel setup is 19×10″ AME ‘Fins’ with a +7 offset, front and rear. This thing is daily driven at only 38mm from the ground. Just in case you haven’t done math since elementary school, that’s 1.5 inches. The thought of driving at this height daily (Static) makes me pee a little. I don’t know too terribly much about the origin of this car, but I do know one thing…I want one. Maybe I’ll just move to New Zealand!

The car originates from Japan, I have a 2001 model with the VQ25DET (2.5L V6 Turbo) in it and it’s great. Sits low but now as low as that courtesy of the Nismo S-Tune’s the previous japanese owner fitted it with. No big wheels yet but one day.

The car is based on the V35 Skyline design, if you ever check a V35 out or a G35 Infiniti if you are in the states, the interiours and shape are very similiar.
